Sandbox Settings

The Sandbox Settings option allows administrators to configure storage and resource parameters for the Sandbox environment. The Sandbox acts as the central location where DS Lab Notebooks, Models, Transforms, and Artifacts are stored.

Once configured, Sandbox files become available inside the Data Sandbox module of the Data Center and Data Science Lab.

Access Sandbox Settings

1. From the Admin Panel, click Sandbox Settings under the Configurations list.

   • The Sandbox Settings page opens.

Configure Sandbox Settings

On the Sandbox Settings page, provide the following details:

• Storage Type for File Upload:

  • Only Network is currently supported and is selected by default.

• Select Path: Choose the base path where all Sandbox files will be saved (root directory for file storage).

• Path: Specify the base path where all DS Lab files will be saved.

• Max File Size (MB): Define the maximum file size allowed for upload to the Sandbox from the Data Center.

• Temp Location: Specify the location where files uploaded from the Data Center will be temporarily stored.

• Claim Name: Provide the name of the claim used for persistent storage in the Sandbox environment.

• Sub Path: Define a sub-directory within the base path to organize files.

• Node Pool: Add key-value pairs for node pool configuration by clicking the Add New Field icon.

After entering all required details:

1. Click Save.

   • A notification message confirms that the Sandbox Settings have been saved successfully.

Notes

• All DS Lab Notebooks, Models, Transforms, and Artifacts will be saved in the Sandbox location.

• Sandbox files become available inside the Data Sandbox module only after Sandbox Settings are configured.
