Data Science Lab Settings

The Notebook Settings option allows administrators to configure the Data Science Lab (DS Lab) environment. These settings control the resources, runtime environments, and shutdown behavior for user notebooks.

Configuring these settings is required before users can access the Data Science Lab module and begin creating Data Science projects.

Access Notebook Settings

1. From the Admin Module, click Data Science Lab Settings under the Configurations list.

   • The Data Science Lab Settings page opens.

Configure Notebook Settings

Provide the following information on the Data Science Lab Settings page:

Environment Settings

• Algorithms

• Image Version

• Image Name

• API Image Version

• API Image Name

• GPU Support

• Idle Shutdown: Click Add to configure idle shutdown duration for notebook sessions.

Configuration Details

• Limit – Memory

• Request – Memory

After entering the required information, click Save.

• A notification message confirms that the configuration for the Notebook Settings has been saved.

Note

• Users can access the Data Science Lab module of the BDB Platform only after these settings have been configured.

• Once configured, users can immediately begin creating and running Data Science projects.
