Geo Spatial
The Geo Settings page allows administrators to configure mapping options for the platform. Two supported options are available: Google Maps and Leaflet Maps.
Configure Google Map Settings
On the Geo Settings page, locate the Google Settings section.
Provide the following information:
Map Key: Enter the Google-provided map key (purchased from Google).
Click Save.
A notification message confirms that the Google Map settings have been saved.
Configure Leaflet Map Settings
On the Geo Settings page, locate the Leaflet Settings section.
Provide the following information:
Map URL: The URL of the selected map (provided by the open-source vendor).
Attribution: Configuration parameters for the map (provided by the open-source vendor).
Click Save.
A notification message confirms that the Leaflet Map settings have been saved.
Geo Shapes
The Geo Shapes option allows administrators to upload, manage, and delete geo shape files. These shapes can be used for mapping polygons or lines on the configured maps.
Upload a Geo Shape File
From the Geo Settings configuration options, click Geo Shapes.
The Geo Shapes page opens.
Click Add.
The Create New Geo Shapes page opens.
Provide the following information:
Shape Name: Enter the title of the geo shape.
Geometry Type: Select Polygon or Line from the drop-down menu.
Area Type: Select an area type from the drop-down menu.
Choose File: Upload a shapefile from your system (JSON and JS formats supported).
Click Save.
A confirmation message appears, and the uploaded file is displayed in the list.
Search for Geo Shapes
Use the Search bar to locate a specific Geo Shapefile from the list.
Delete a Geo Shape File
Select a shapefile from the list on the Geo Shapes page.
Click the Delete icon next to the file.
A confirmation window opens. Select DELETE to confirm.
The selected Geo Shape file will be removed from the list.
