Yes, In the BDB self-service module, we support natural language queries. NLP is based on dictionary chunking. Synonyms can be defined as attributes and values. We used an intelligent query engine to formulate the query.

BDB Platform provides AI Based search, which supports natural language it makes accessing BI content extremely easy for a Business User and End User.

The responsive Search interprets human languages through computational linguistics to analyze the data and give appropriate outcomes. It also provides autosuggestions to make data discovery even faster. NLP-based AI-based voice assistance on mobile devices lets you drill deeper into your data and create a complete visual report without even using your fingers.

Describe the support for responsive UIs in the BDB Platform.

BDB Self-Service reporting is having responsive UI. In Governed dashboard we have layout selection for different screen sizes/devices - it supports web, tablet, and mobile screens. This means if we have developed dashboards and we have designed a layout for all Screen sizes that dashboard will run seamlessly on Web, Mobile (ios/android) & iPad.

Does the BDB Platform support threshold-based alerts/notifications? Please describe.

Yes, it is supported. Visual alerts can be configured while designing the dashboards. Dashboard designers provide scripting capabilities using which you can send notifications.

Please describe if the notifications support email, sms, and visual dashboard alerts and if the user needs to be logged in to the system to receive the alert.

In the Data pipeline email notification is supported out of the box for sending email notifications when data change happens. We also provide out-of-the-box AWS SNS and Azure Event hub notification support. Custom notification can be enabled via scripting.

Please describe the report scheduling capabilities.

Yes, we have report scheduling capability. We can schedule it to multiple users available in the system and it exports the report in PDF format. That sends to the selected user at the scheduled time.

Does the BDB Platform support download data from the UI to PDF, images, CSV/Excel?

Yes we support all the standard downloading functionalities like PDF, PNG, JPEG, CSV, Excel

Describe the ability to create and share dashboards with one or more users.

Yes, we can share the dashboard with the various users and with the group created for various personas. In the case of Self-Service reports, a Copy feature is provided that helps the Admin to share a modifiable & independent version with every user.

Please describe the out-of-box visualizations supported (bar chart, scatter plot, box plot, time series, heat maps, bubble charts, Sankey charts, flow diagrams, network graphs, geographic heat maps, etc.

Yes, we have 65+ out-of-the-box visualization components. Some of the components are (Timeline, Bar, Scatterplot, Leaflet map, Bubble Chart, Heatmap, etc.,)

Yes, we provide an extensibility feature to embed 3rd party chartings components in the governed dashboard. A demo dashboard on this can be provided.

Does the BDB Platform have versioning support for reports & dashboards?

Yes, we support versioning for reports and dashboards via GIT.

Does the BDB Platform support workflows for review, approval, and publishing of reports & dashboards?

In the BDB Platform, we have a specific method to manage the workflows. The Admin decides which use has what kind of access. In case a Dashboard Developer can develop only dashboards then Admin can publish it to the users that have access to this dashboard.

Describe the tools/capabilities for sharing or moving charts/visualizations from one dashboard to another.

This can be partly done via Templates. Some templates can help you build dashboards faster (the 8.0 version will have this). Also in the dashboards, there are multiple charts visualization possible (for some visuals) and user can select what kind of visualization they want to choose. In the case of Self-Service, the charts of one Story can be used in the other one.

Does the BDB Platform have the capability to export and import dashboard templates from one environment/project to another?

Yes, the capability is getting added in the 8.0 version.
