Data Catalog Settings

The admin can configure the details of the Data Catalog that needs to be saved. This settings option is essential for using the Data Catalog Search feature on the Platform homepage.

The Data Catalog Settings option contains the following options to configure it:

1. Standard

2. SRV

Data Catalog Settings with Standard Option

• Click the Data Catalog Settings option from the Configurations menu.

• The Data Catalog Settings page opens.

• Select the Standard option.

• The user needs to configure the following fields:

  • Username

  • Password

  • IP/Host

  • Port (This field does not appear when the SRV option is selected to save the data.)

  • Database Name

• Click the Validate option to validate the entered details.

• A notification message appears to confirm that the details are validated.

• Click the Save option to save the data in the given database.

Data Catalog Settings with SRV Option

• Click the Data Catalog Settings option from the Configurations menu.

• Navigate to the Data Catalog Settings page using the Admin panel.

• Select the SRV option.

• Configure the following fields when SRV option is selected to save the Data Catalog Settings:

  • Username

  • IP/Host

  • Database Name

• Click the Validate option to validate the entered details.

Please Note: The notification messages will appear as displayed above for the Standard option and the Data Catalog Settings with SRV option will be saved.
