Refresh Data

Use Refresh Data to reload a Data Store and ensure it reflects the latest data from its source.

Steps to Refresh Data for a Data Store

  • Navigate to the Data Stores list

    • Go to Data Center > My Connectors > Data Store > Data Store list.

  • Select the Data Store

    • Locate the Data Store whose data needs to be refreshed.

  • Click the Refresh Data icon

    • Click the Refresh Data icon for the selected Data Store.

    • The Data Store Refresh dialog box appears.

  • Confirm Refresh

    • Click Yes to initiate the refresh.

    • A notification appears stating that the refresh process has started.

  • Monitor progress

    • Notifications about the refresh status will be provided through the Notification icon.

    • You can check the Notification icon for updates as the refresh progresses.

Outcome

  • The Data Store is reloaded with the latest data from its source.

  • The Notification icon will update with a message when the data has been successfully refreshed or if any issues occurred.

Notes & Tips:

  • Notification icon: A new notification will appear to inform you when the refresh completes and the data is successfully loaded into the Data Store.

  • Refresh operations may take a variable amount of time depending on the data volume and connection speed.

  • Refresh notifications are particularly helpful for ensuring that scheduled or manual updates are tracked in real-time.

  • If a scheduled refresh is enabled, the system will automatically handle data loads and notifications.

  • Monitor progress: Use the Notification icon to track the refresh status, especially when working with large datasets.

Troubleshooting

  • Refresh fails: Check network connectivity, data source access permissions, and ensure the Data Store connection is active. Retry the process or contact your administrator if the issue persists.

  • No notifications after refresh: Ensure that Notifications are enabled in your environment settings. Check your email or notification settings if needed.
