Deleting a Data Store

This guide explains how to delete a Data Store from the Data Store List.

Steps to Delete a Data Store

  • Navigate to the Data Stores List

    • Go to Data Center > My Connector > Data Store.

    • After clicking the Data Store, a list of existing data stores opens.

  • Select the Data Store Find the Data Store you wish to delete from the list.

  • Delete the Data Store Click the Delete icon next to the selected Data Store. Result: The Remove Data Store confirmation dialog opens.

  • Confirm Deletion Click Yes to confirm the deletion. A confirmation message appears, and the selected Data Store is removed from the list.

Outcome

  • The selected Data Store is permanently deleted and no longer available for use in any downstream processes (e.g., reports, Data Sheets, Data Prep).

Notes & Cautions:

  • Irreversible action: Deletion is permanent. Ensure the Data Store is no longer in use or has been backed up if needed before deletion.

  • Dependent assets: If any Reports, Data Sheets, or Data Preparation workflows reference the Data Store, update them to point to another Data Store or source.

Troubleshooting

  • Delete icon disabled: Ensure you have the correct permissions and the Data Store is not locked by an active process or job.

  • Data Store not removed: Refresh the Data Stores List page after deletion to confirm it’s no longer visible.
