Learn how to create a new report by uploading a file and applying Data Preparation (Data Prep) steps directly in the Report UI before designing and saving views.
This workflow allows you to transform raw uploaded data, apply automated or manual data preparation, and then use the refined dataset to generate reports.

Click Save.
A notification confirms that the View has been successfully created.
The saved view is added to the final report screen.
Notes:
The same steps apply for uploading an Excel file instead of a CSV.
Auto Prep is ideal for quickly preparing raw data, but can be overridden with manual transforms.
All Data Preparation steps are reusable and tracked in the Steps tab for auditability.
Reports created with Data Preparation inherit the applied transformations, ensuring cleaner analysis and consistent reporting.
