CA PPM Configuration

The CA PPM Configuration option allows administrators to integrate the platform with Clarity (CA PPM) for authentication and user synchronization. This ensures secure access control and centralized management of Clarity users within the platform.


Access CA PPM Configuration

  1. From the Authentication admin option, select CA PPM Configuration.

    • A new page opens, displaying a three-step configuration process.

    • The CA PPM Settings tab is shown by default.

Step 1: Configure CA PPM Settings

  1. Provide the following details:

    • Username: A valid CA PPM account username

    • Password: The password for the selected CA PPM account

    • Server URL: The URL of the CA PPM server

    • User Access NQuery: The query name that fetches a list of Clarity users

  2. Click Next.

    • A success message confirms the action.

    • The system navigates to the CA PPM Sync Configuration tab.

Step 2: Sync Clarity Users

  1. In the CA PPM Sync Configuration tab:

    • Review the Clarity User List.

    • Select a user from the list.

  2. Click Next.

    • A success message confirms that the user list has been updated.

    • The system navigates to the Group Configuration tab.

Step 3: Configure Clarity Groups

  1. In the Group Configuration tab:

    • Select a Clarity user from the Group List.

    • Add them to the Selected Clarity User List.

    • Select any additional Clarity users from the list as required.

  2. Click Save.

    • A success message confirms that the group has been updated successfully.

Notes

  • Click the Clear All Settings icon to erase the entered CA PPM information.

  • Click Back to return to the CA PPM Settings page.
