Implementing Scheduler for Datamart

The Datamart Scheduler allows administrators to automate data refreshes for survey Datamarts, ensuring the stored data remains up-to-date without manual intervention.

Creating a Scheduler

  1. Navigate to Manage Datamart for your survey.

  2. Click the Update Settings icon.

  3. The Scheduler View window opens.

  4. Click Create Scheduler to open the scheduler configuration page.

  5. Complete the following configurations:

    • Select Time Range Option: Specify the frequency (e.g., daily, weekly).

    • Enter Start Date: Define when the scheduler should begin.

    • Schedule Refresh Option: Select either Every (recurring interval) or At (specific time).

    • Enter End Date: Optional; define when the scheduler should stop.

  6. Click Save.

Editing the Scheduler

  1. Click Edit Scheduler on the scheduler screen.

  2. Modify the scheduler configurations as needed.

  3. Click Update Scheduler.

Stopping and Restarting a Scheduler

Steps to Stop

  • Click Stop Scheduler.

Steps to Restart

  • Click Restart Scheduler to resume scheduled operations.

Notes:

  • Scheduler ensures the timely and automated refresh of survey Datamarts.

  • Administrators can edit, stop, and restart the scheduler at any time without affecting existing data.

  • Ensure the time range and end dates are accurately configured to avoid missed or redundant refreshes.
