Creating a Datamart for a Survey

Administrators can create a data mart to store and manage survey data efficiently. The Datamart allows survey responses to be written to a dedicated database for reporting and analysis.

Steps to Create a Datamart

1. Navigate to the Survey List.

2. Click the More Options icon next to the desired survey.

3. Select Manage Datamart from the context menu.

• A new screen opens to create or update the Datamart.

1. Fill in the required information:

   • Datamart Status: Displays whether a Datamart exists.

   • Database Type: Currently supports MySQL.

   • Database Name: Enter the target database name.

   • URL: Enter the IP address or data source URL.

   • Port: Specify the database port number.

   • Username: Enter database username.

   • Password: Enter database password.

   • Datamart Description: Optional description of the Datamart.

2. Click Create / Update Datamart to create the Datamart.

   
3. Optionally, click Reset to clear the entered details.

• If creation is successful, you are redirected to a new page where the Datamart Status confirms the creation.

• Click the Refresh icon to update the page.

• The newly created Datamart is displayed in the list.

• Click the Datamart name to view detailed information and configurations.

  

Notes:

• Ensure the database credentials and IP address are correct before creating the Datamart.

• Datamart creation is mandatory for storing survey responses for reporting and analysis.

• Use the Refresh icon to verify the latest status of the Datamart.
