Data Store Information
This page displays the information about the selected Data Stores in context to a report.
The Data Store Information option provides details about the Data Stores used in a Report and allows users to manage them. From this page, users can:
View Data Stores associated with the current Report.
Mark a Data Store as the Primary Store.
Redirect to the Search page or Design canvas for View creation.
Select and switch to another available Data Store.
This feature ensures flexibility in managing multiple Data Stores across Reports.
Accessing Data Store Information
Navigate to the final screen of a Report (Storyboard).
Click the Data Store Information icon.
The Data Store Information window opens, displaying the Data Store(s) associated with the Report.
Actions Available for Each Data Store
Primary Store – Marks the Data Store as the default store for the Report.
Search – Redirects to the BDB Search page to create a new View.
View Design – Redirects to the Design Canvas to create or modify a View.
Selecting Another Data Store
Click the All Data Stores icon.
The Available Data Stores window opens, displaying a list of Data Stores.
Use the Search Data Store bar to quickly locate a specific Data Store.
Select a Data Store from the list.
Choose one of the following actions:
Search – Redirects to the Search page for new View creation.
Design – Redirects to the Design Canvas for new View creation.
Setting a Primary Data Store
Click the Data Store Information icon from the Report’s final page.
In the Data Store Information window, locate the Data Store you want to mark as primary.
Click the Primary Store icon next to the Data Store.
The selected Data Store is now set as the Primary Data Store for the Report.
By default, this Data Store will be selected when opening the Design Canvas.
