Custom View Filter

The Card Filter allows users to apply quick filters directly on a saved View from the Report screen. This provides an intuitive way to refine the data shown in a View without reopening it in the Design workspace.

Applying a Custom View Filter

  1. Select a View from the final screen of the Report.

  2. Click the Card Filter icon to customize the selected View.

  3. The context menu displays the available filter option (e.g., Source).

  4. Use the provided checkboxes to select one or more filter values.

  5. Click the Apply icon.

Viewing Applied Filters

  1. Click the Filters Applied icon.

  2. A context window opens, showing the details of all applied View Filters.

Editing a Customized View

  1. From the Report’s final screen, select the View with an applied Card Filter.

  2. Click the ellipsis (⋮) icon.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. The View opens in the Design Workspace.

Note: When a View is opened in Design mode, any Custom Filters applied earlier will not remain effective.

Limitations

  • Card Filter cannot be applied to the following chart types:

    • Scatter Plot

    • KPI Tile

    • KPI Comparative Tile

    • Matrix Summary

Best Practices

  • Use Custom View Filters for quick, ad-hoc filtering at the Report level.

  • For persistent filters, apply them in the Design Workspace and save the View.

  • Always check the Filters Applied panel to review active filters before exporting or sharing a Report.
