Mapping Table (Language Text Mapping)

The Mapping Table option allows administrators to map the added languages to specific dashboards. This enables localized display of dashboard elements such as titles, axis descriptions, tooltips, and labels.

Create a new language mapping

  1. In the Administration module, click Language Mapping.

  2. Select Mapping Table.

    • The Language Text Mapping page opens, showing the list of available mappings.

  3. Click Add to create a new language text mapping.

  4. In the New Language Mapping window:

    • Enter a name for the mapping.

    • Select one or more languages from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Save.

A success message confirms that the new language mapping is saved. The mapping appears on the Language Text Mapping page.

Add key terms and translations

  1. From the Language Text Mapping page, select the newly created language.

  2. Insert a key from the selected dashboard.

    • Note: A dashboard must be selected by the Designer to display the available key terms.

  3. Provide the translated synonym of the key in the selected language(s).

  4. Click Save.

A success message confirms that the term has been added. The saved key and its synonym appear in the right-side list.

Add additional terms

  • Repeat the steps above to insert more keys and their translations into the selected language mapping.

  • Each saved term is immediately reflected in the right-side list.

  • Refer to the Language Mapping section under Configurations > Governed Dashboards to learn how language mapping is applied inside the Designer module.
