Preview a Data Sandbox File

Quickly verify an uploaded file’s contents before preparing or using it downstream.

Prerequisites:

• Access permission of the Data Center module and the Data Sandbox option.

• A file has been uploaded and appears in the Data Sandbox list.

Steps

1. Open the list Navigate to Data Center > My Connectors > Data Sandbox > Data Sandbox List.

2. Select the Sandbox Locate the target Sandbox entry (use the search bar if needed).

3. Preview Click the Preview icon for that Sandbox. Result: The Preview Sandbox page opens and displays a read-only view of the file’s data.

What you’ll see

• A grid with sample rows and columns from the sandbox file.

• Basic validation of headers and field values to confirm the file was uploaded correctly.

Notes & Tips:

• For multi-sheet Excel files, you may be prompted to select a sheet during later workflows (e.g., Data Preparation or Data Store creation).

• Use Preview to confirm column names, data types, date/number formats, and delimiter/encoding (for CSV/TXT).

• If headers look incorrect, re-export or clean the source file, and consider Reupload.

Troubleshooting

• Preview icon disabled/missing: Ensure you have permissions and the file has finished uploading.

• Corrupted/unsafe file warning: Clean or re-export the source and Reupload.

• Wrong file shown: Verify you clicked the correct Sandbox entry; refresh the list and retry.
