Activate & Deactivate Pipeline

This section outlines the steps to activate and deactivate a pipeline from the Pipelines list page within the Data Engineering module.

The user can activate/ deactivate the pipeline by clicking on the Activate/ Deactivate option provided under the Actions column of the pipelines list.

Accessing the Activate Option

  • Navigate to the Pipelines list page from the left-hand menu.

  • Locate and select the desired pipeline from the list.

  • Click the Activate option in the Actions column for the selected pipeline.

Confirmation

  • A confirmation dialog box appears, prompting the user to verify.

  • Click the Yes option to proceed with activation.

Outcome

  • A confirmation message is displayed upon successful activation.

  • The Activate Pipeline icon changes to Deactivate Pipeline.

  • The Status indicator updates to UP and changes to green, signifying that the pipeline is now active.

  • Navigate to the Pipelines list page from the left-hand menu.

  • Locate and select the desired activated pipeline from the list.

  • Click the Deactivate option in the Actions column for the selected activated pipeline.

  • A confirmation dialog box appears, prompting the user to verify.

  • Click the Yes option to proceed with deactivation.

  • A confirmation message is displayed upon successful activation.

  • The Deactivate Pipeline icon changes to Activate Pipeline.

  • The Status indicator updates to OFF and changes to green, signifying that the pipeline is now inactive.

Please note: You can also activate or deactivate a pipeline directly from the Pipeline Toolbar on the Pipeline Editor page.
