Deleting a Catalog Entry

This page describes steps to delete a data catalog entry.

The Admin users can delete an existing catalogue entry from the system. A catalogue entry refers to a registered item, product, service, or data component that is part of a structured listing within the application.

Steps to Delete a Catalog Entry

• From the main navigation panel, click the Catalog option to open the Data Catalog section.

• Select an asset type using the asset options panel. E.g., the API Service asset option is selected in the given image.

• Browse through the list and select the API Service you want to delete (e.g., testdtmig2).

• Click on the More Options (⋮) icon next to the selected API Service to open the context menu.

• Click the Delete option from the dropdown menu to initiate the deletion process.

  
• A confirmation prompt will appear.

• Click Yes to delete the selected entry from the catalog list.

Please note: Selecting the No option will cancel the deletion process.

• The selected entry will be removed from the displayed Data Catalog list.

  

Please note: Deleted catalog entries will only reappear if their corresponding source assets are modified or updated.
