Designing a View
Begin designing your new report by creating a View on the Design page or Design canvas.
Once a report is created, the system automatically redirects the user to the Design page to begin building views.
Note: For reports created from file uploads (CSV/Excel), the Designing View functionality becomes available only after data is successfully loaded into the associated Data Store.
Switch UI Options
The Design page offers two interfaces:
Old UI – Drag-and-drop interface with a grid chart default.
New UI – Search-driven interface with mixed chart default.
You can switch between UIs using the Switch UI icon on the Design page.
Designing a View (Old UI)
Navigate to the Design page.
Use the Switch UI icon to select Old UI.
Choose Dimensions and Measures:
Drag and drop them into the suggested fields, OR
Double-click on a Dimension or Measure to add it.
A View is instantly created using the Grid chart (default).
Click the Save View icon.
A confirmation message appears.
The saved View appears on the final screen of the report.
Designing a View (New UI)
Navigate to the Design page.
By default, the New UI is active in the Switch UI icon.
Use the Search bar at the top of the page:
Left-click inside the bar to list all available Dimensions and Measures.
Select the desired combination by clicking items.
Repeat selection for multiple Dimensions/Measures.
The selected fields appear inside the Search bar.
Click
icon.A View is instantly created using the Mixed chart (default).
Click the Save View icon.
A confirmation message appears.
The saved View appears on the final screen of the report.
Customizing the View
Use the Chart tab to change the default chart type (e.g., bar, line, pie, mixed).
Use the Chart Properties icon to configure chart-specific properties such as labels, axes, colors, and formatting.

Notes:
Switching between Old UI and New UI does not affect existing saved views; it only changes how new views are created.
Always save a view after creation to persist it in the report.
The confirmation message ensures that the view has been successfully added.
