Accessing the Data Connectors
This section guides you on how to access the Data Connectors icon and navigate to the Data Connectors page.
Open the Data Connectors page
On the Designer canvas, click the Data Connectors ()icon.
Result: A new screen opens showing the available data connection options.
Available connection types:
CSV
Excel
Data Service
Data Store
Data Sheet
WebSocket
Merged Data
Create a new connection
Select a data connection type.
Click Create New Connection (the + icon).
Notes & tips:
Use CSV/Excel for file-based sources, Data Service/Data Store for system-backed sources, WebSocket for streaming, Merged Data to combine existing connections, and Data Sheet for in-app sheets.
Keep connection names concise and descriptive (e.g., Sales_CSV_2025Q1, ERP_DataService_Prod).
Ensure you have the necessary credentials and network access before testing.
Troubleshooting
Connection fails to save: Verify required fields (name, path/endpoint, credentials).
Test Connection fails: Check credentials, firewall/VPN, and endpoint URL/host.
No datasets appear later: Confirm the connection saved successfully and that your user has permission to access the source.
