Job Alerts
Job Alerts notify users of job events (success, failure, or custom triggers) by sending messages to communication channels such as Microsoft Teams and Slack. Alerts are configured with Webhook URLs, enabling seamless integration with collaboration platforms.
Configure Job Alerts for Microsoft Teams
Navigation path: Data Pipeline > Jobs > Job Alerts > Teams
Webhook URL: Provide the Teams Webhook URL for the selected channel or channel group.
Type: Pre-filled as
Message Card
.Theme Color: Enter a hexadecimal color code to customize the ribbon color for the alert card.
Example:
#008000
for green.
Sections:
Activity Title: Title of the alert. Example: Job Execution Alert.
Activity Subtitle: Subtitle text to provide additional context. Example: Pipeline XYZ - Stage 2.
Text: Define the text for the alert message that will be sent to the configured channel.
Configure Job Alerts for Slack
Navigation path: Data Pipeline > Jobs > Job Alerts > Slack
Webhook URL: Provide the Slack Webhook URL for the target channel.
Attachments: Define message appearance using the following fields:
Title: Title of the alert. Example: Data Pipeline Completed Successfully.
Color: Hexadecimal color code for the left ribbon in the Slack message.
Blue:

Red:
#FF0000
Yellow:
#FFFF00
Green:
#008000
Black:
#000000
Text: The main alert message body. Example: Pipeline executed successfully with 0 errors.
Footer: Additional information to append at the bottom of the alert (e.g., job ID, support contact).
Footer Icon: URL of an image to display next to the footer text.
Steps to set the Footer Icon:
Locate the desired image online.
Right-click on the image and select Copy Image Address.
Paste the URL into the Footer Icon field.

Configure Job Alerts for Email
Navigation path: Data Pipeline > Jobs > Job Alerts > Email
Email Receiver: Enter the email address that will receive the alert notifications.
Email Subject: Specify a subject line for the email alert.
Email Text: Write the main body of the alert message using the provided text interface.
