Data Sheet
The Data Sheet Grid component is designed to capture and consolidate information across process, mechanical, electrical, technical, and control requirements for equipment and instruments. It allows multi-user collaboration, enabling different stakeholders to input and update details within a shared sheet.
This grid type is especially useful when gathering structured specifications that need to be searched, filtered, compared, and validated in one place.

Properties of the Data Sheet Grid
General
Component Name: Assigns a unique identifier.
Left / Top: Defines horizontal and vertical placement on the canvas.
Height / Width: Sets the component’s dimensions.
Initial Visibility: Controls whether the grid is visible at load.
Max Button: Expand to full-screen mode.
Fit Columns: Auto-adjusts column widths to fit data or screen.
Editable: Enables direct in-grid cell editing.
Allow Row Insert: Allows dynamic addition of new rows.
Quick Cell Save: Saves edits immediately after a cell update.
Pagination: Splits data into manageable pages.
No. of Rows: Defines the number of rows per page.
Background
Gradient / Gradient Rotation / Opacity: Customize background effects.
Border / Border Color / Border Radius: Define grid borders and rounded corners.
Shadow / Shadow Color / Shadow Transparency: Apply shadow effects for depth.
💡 Note: Clicking the Gradient icon opens the background gradient customization window.
Title
Show Title, Title Box, Title Box Color: Control title display and background.
Title Bar Height: Adjust the title bar size.
Description: Add contextual or descriptive text.
Font (Color, Size, Style, Weight, Family): Customize typography.
Align / Text Decoration: Manage text alignment and formatting.
Show Dataset Description: Optionally display dataset metadata in the title.
Subtitle
Show Sub Title: Enable or disable subtitle text.
Description: Add supporting descriptive text.
Font (Color, Size, Style, Weight, Family): Style subtitle text.
Align / Text Decoration: Configure alignment and formatting.
Header Style
Header Text Color / Background Color: Style headers.

Use Field Color: Apply column-specific colors.

Row Style

Grid Colors

To set grid colors:
Click the Grid Colors icon.
In the Grid Colors window, choose Row Color and Alternate Row Color.
Click Save to apply changes.

Data Sheet Variants Different appearances and behaviors can be configured by adjusting properties (e.g., row insert, editable mode, pagination).
Alerts in Grids Refer to the Alerts in Grids configuration page for setting conditional alerts.
Dataset Configuration Ensure Column Type is set to Numeric in the Dataset Properties tab to make fields responsive to Indicator tab configurations.
