Data Catalog Settings

The admin can configure the details of the Data Catalog that needs to be saved. This settings option is essential for using the Data Catalog search feature.

  • Click the Data Catalog Settings option from the Configurations menu.

  • The Data Catalog Settings page opens.

  • Select either of the options out of the Standard or SRV options.

  • The user needs to configure the following fields:

    • Username

    • Password

    • IP/Host

    • Port (This field does not appear when the SRV option is selected to save the data.)

    • Database Name

  • Click the Validate option to validate the entered details.

  • A notification message appears to confirm that the details are validated.

  • Click the Save option to save the data in the given database.

  • A notification message appears to confirm that the Data Catalog Settings have got saved.
