# Creating a new Story

The ***Create Story*** process gets completed in the following steps:

2. Choosing either an [***existing Data Store***](/self-service-visualization-2/creating-a-new-story/create-new-story/creating-a-new-story-with-an-existing-data-store.md) or [***Uploading a File (CSV/ Excel)***](/self-service-visualization-2/creating-a-new-story/create-new-story/creating-a-new-story-by-uploading-a-file/creating-a-new-story-by-uploading-a-csv-file.md) to Create Story.​
3. ***​***[***Creating a*** ***View***](/self-service-visualization-2/creating-a-new-story/designing-a-view.md) and save it on the Storyboard.
4. [***Saving multiple Views***](/self-service-visualization-2/creating-a-new-story/saving-multiple-views.md) on a [***Storyboard***](/self-service-visualization-2/storyboard.md).
